Project Details

The beautiful and distinctive wooden trimwork on the historic Chambersburg Borough building had deteriorated and fallen into disrepair after over 75 years. Window trim had cracked and rotted, and some of the ornamentation had even fallen off. A simple paint job wasn’t enough to fix it. That’s why they called Lauer Construction.

Thanks to our in-house millwork shop, we were able to refurbish and save some of the original pieces. For those pieces that were missing or could not be repaired, we created brand new replacements that seamlessly matched the existing trim.
