Since 1980, Dorgan & Zuck has provided construction services to our customers with quality craftsmanship, attention to detail, and assurance that their project will be completed on time and within budget. Our staff has the experience in managing large scale commercial projects, design build capabilities, understanding unique challenges and in historic preservation, and large or small scale residential projects. With personal attention to detail and services, our in-house millwork shop allows Dorgan & Zuck to customize or replicate unique and original detail for any project or personal touch.

Dorgan & Zuck was founded in 1980 by two carpenters: William Zuck and Michael Dorgan. After successfully building their business, Dorgan and Zuck incorporated in 1982. During the latter part of 1992, Michael Dorgan left the company and William Zuck, better known as Bill, became principal owner. Having overcome difficult times, Bill has brought his company to grow to the next level with helping both commercial and residential clients solve their construction needs.

In 2015, Dorgan & Zuck celebrates its 35th anniversary. One thing remaining constant over our 35 years of serving the York area is the company’s commitment to deliver the highest quality construction. That’s why we’re one of Central Pennsylvania’s premier building contractors.

William “Bill” Zuck

Bill Zuck established Dorgan & Zuck in 1980 with a commitment to deliver the highest quality workmanship, reliable service, and professional integrity. Bill is the Owner, President, and Chief Estimator. Bill’s estimating experience over the last 45+ years has helped our customers achieve their budget needs. Today, Bill continues to oversee all day to day operations to ensure our customers highest satisfaction.


Matthew “Matt” Hartman

Matt brings 30+ years of construction experience to Dorgan & Zuck. Matt’s experience in commercial and design build projects gives him the edge to give our customers the detail, attention, and assurance their project design, schedule and budget deserves. Matt has been with Dorgan & Zuck since 2013. He’s served for 7 years as a member of the York County Literacy Council, a non-profit organization empowering adults to learn literacy skills, as well as a United Way Account Executive and Chair Trustee for his church.


Melinda “Mindy” Zuck
Office Manager

Mindy joined Dorgan & Zuck in 2007 and has 40+ years of secretarial and reception experience.
